The tourism strategy for Laois has been compiled by Mayday Marketing Ltd. They were commissioned by Laois Tourism to facilitate the creation of the strategy. Workshops and consultations were held in the year previous to the launch and members of the Committee, Laois County Council, Laois Leader, East Coast and Midlands Tourism Authority (Failte Ireland) and the Chamber of Commerce as well as other volunteers gathered to create this strategy. Funding for the strategy was gratefully received from Laois Leader and Laois County Council.
